    Runs like a top. Smells like 1968.
    Original, not restored.

    Beautiful bike! I lusted over these in high school. The steering damper and those white grips are pure classic Yamaha.

    You have given away your age...:rofl The black knobs were the steering dampers back in those days. Crank in down and create friction so the head don't shake. :lol3 Only thing is, it just made things worse most times.

    Remember crankin the damper knob super tight when goin down the twisty highway ? Remember the time you left it that way and came into town and dropped it in the parking lot at 2 MPH cause the steering was "stuck" ! ? :lol3

    My bro's heated garage. sat there from 1986 until 2012. He kicked it over once in a while.
    Now it sits in my garage.
    I gotta ride it more often. Been out on it 4 or 5 times in 30 years. Pathetic.
