that picture shifting with the hand is AWESOME.. love it!! but I see no clutch lever on the handlebar.. how was that!!?

second picture is a 72 GT550 right, at first looked like the "water buffalo" but the fins of the air cooled head gave it up..

You don't need no stinkin clutch to shift!!! It's there, just hard to see. We had to do a LeMans start back then. A clutch lever was very important...

Yup, GT550 testing in some remote desert area. I had lot's of fun back then and never really appreciated what it was I got to do....

I don't know, it's a sickness. Plus, they are usually cheap and so am I.

One of the most fun bikes you can own ,even though it likes to lay down once in awhile and sometimes goes lame.

Great photos AND captions in your Flickr set. I grew up near OCIR in the 60's and those photos and places really brought back some memories, and some real boyhood moto-testosterone.

I echo this statement 1 million percent. I ride an '82 GS850G. Never once let me down despite being older than I am. I love my Suzuki. 28 years old and 26,000 miles, still plenty of life left for me.





I love it because it is simple, efficient, affordable, classic good looks, bulletproof, comfortable, quiet, not a slouch in the power department, need I continue? If am in the market for a new bike in the future you can bet I'm gonna look at the big S first.

Ohh yeah, East Coast Rider, that is one SICK 1100. Keep at it your project looks fantastic.

This is the reason for this 2008 with 25K miles.

Hi all, I'm new here. This is my first Suzuki after owning a Harley, several Hondas and a Kawi. This is my 1999 Bandit 1200S that I picked up last year and is so far, my favorite bike to date.

I took these over the winter after I finished replacing the tires, brakes, chain, sprockets and gave it a tune up. Unfortunately, I had to have back surgery this past May so, I have yet to do any riding this summer. I'm hoping to put a few miles on before the snow starts flying again here in Wisconsin.

Anyways, love this site.
