First, pardon me everyone for the mega-sized pics, I put them up with a tablet which isn't very intuitive when it comes to details.

I couldn't find a sticker like that so I made it myself with a printer, adhesives and UV spray. :D

I thought about making a small run of them but chickened out. I'll should upload it to cafepress, sit back and rake in the 8% of the sells they pay.

You were hit harder that me if the bumper got came off. One has to wonder about frame or swing-arm damage.

Were you stopped when hit or on the brakes?

Hi guys. Does anyone know what the cam profile is on the dl1000? I am looking at installing TL or SV cams in it for a few more ponies. Thanks guys hope you all had a great summer of riding and playing.

TL's won't fit.... machined differently on the retention area. SV's will tho... same blank as the DL's.
Likely not worth it tho.... loss on the bottom for a bit more up top where you likely will not use it on the street & damn sure won't in the slow stuff...
Get w/ Dale @ Holeshot Performance about "degreeing in" the stockers first.... you can pick up a suprising amount just from that
One of mine was 6 degrees off when I checked it...:huh.

I first bought a DL 650. The bike was great and fun to ride, but I was commuting 90 miles roundtrip and wanted a little more power. Co-worker had this DL 1000 for sale and I couldn't pass it up. [IMG]kels.[IMG]

Any way to change the rear brake fluid without tearing the whole rear of the bike off? The placement of the rear master cylinder was not very well thought out.

Can't you just pump out the old stuff with the bleeder valve as you add new to the master cylinder? That's how I've always done it.

I have the same problem with my seat. I am torn on which aftermarket seat to get. Any suggestions?
