Hi Buc! And Hi Camo Jo! And Hi MacDuff!

Nice pics all. Ahem... of course I took that one of McD - :D (you should have smelt the oil..... that would have taken your smile off right away......)

Dune 7 guy looks to do the kind of riding I like to do - good on him. Perhaps we will meet up someday

Lesotho is always sweet isnt it? Nice ride. We plan to do the GS Challenge (red routes/skill challenges) and then plop off to do Lesotho the hard way round too. Cant wait.

And then Nottingham Road - thats where I spent the very first years of my life, so its VERY special to me - Salut. And I havent even ridden my motorsickle up there yet....... perhaps if I get me a KTM from Alfie Cox, I will go and tour what I have done on 4 wheels.

    Hi there

1200 - Guy from PE and his son - Heavy load, hard tyres, sitting down, hit "middelmannetjie", braked, highsided, then lost control and who knows what happened then. Both had some broken bones, but were OK. We picked up the bike and accompanied them to Mariental from where they were sent to Windhoek for some surgery. We left the bike at Windhoek and Simon took care of the guys and bike from there.

Yes, suspension swopped with a shorter guy who wanted a blue S with low springs...

Okay I know its not an adventure bike but I'm planning to get a dual sport soon. This was my toy until I destroyed it in the rain on the freeway in KZN.

Had a 1981 CB750F before this one. The VFR400 is quick and fun, much quicker than a 650 single but can't go places an adv bike can. As soon as I'm home and settled I'll be breaking the bank again and buy me a new toy. It's my birthday 2 days after I get back....maybe I'll buy me a present :-)

oh I believe that - a 650 single is meant for tractor riding.. not racing. So! Tell me - does your birthday bring a certain ORANGE glow to it????

Hell man, I'd be STOKED if you went that route... DAYAM! And where again do you live? If its Natal, I am not interested cos I miss the place like the daisies and cant wait to tour my beloved birthland on a motorfiets.
