Steelers fan, and while I like our schedule (provided Big Ben keeps it zipped), I think it will be a bit snoozy at the end of the season. Week 11 vs the Ravens, then @ Browns, then @ Ravens. That 3 week stretch is probably going to determine who wins the AFC North. Random Predictions: - Atlanta sucks this year. Carolina wins the NFC South. - Peyton Manning will not be what he was in the past. - Tebow starts by mid-season, Rex Ryan gets fired. - Mediocre season for the Cowboys, Garrett gets fired. Lots of football tourism for me this season. Flying out to Dallas to see my Steelers. Going to take in one Falcons game. And going to see the Jags play the Bears.
I'd like for you to be right about Carolina. But I keep hearing that this will be Matt Ryan's year. We'll see. Oh, and Tebow will start before game 6. I don't see Rex getting fired but I think he'll put a knife in Sanchez. And the Jets still won't make the playoffs.
and what in the wide world of sports was meant by this i got a gas station 2 blocks away i can walk to....
Actually spend little time at ESPN.com--- see them as a sports promotion organization rather than a sports reporting. Had googled something like "toughest 2012 NFL schedule" and found that. I agree, SI.com-- but then for me, its CBSSports.com
I hadn't been to CBS Sports for a long time. When did the actually add content instead of just AP wire stuff? I might add it to the rotation.
My beloved Cardinals have the AFC East and NFC North along with the Eagles and Falcons. Add in SF in conference and a improved Seahawks. Fucking ouch....
Say it ain't so New Orleans. You were one of the good guys, or so I thought. Loomis and his entire staff should get kicked out of the league.
I'm very disappointed. They were one of those teams that while I wasn't a fan, I could easily cheer for. Now it is getting difficult, just a very slimy team. A big Cowboy fan friend, who is kind of like Koncha--- much more NFL/football knowledge than me--- has always hated Peyton since he left Dallas. It kind of reminds me of the Arkansas thing, we shouldn't be surprised when scum acts like scum. Am playing with being in NO at the time of the Saints/Chiefs game. Thought I'd go cheer for the Saints. Now I think I'll pass.
I find it interesting that the owner hasn't come under increased scutiny. Or maybe not, given that underlings are easier to scapegoat.
I generally liked New Orleans. Brees is a class act. From 'Who Dat' to world champs? As an NFL fan, that was good stuff. I know it's a cut-throat business but still, line up and play, best team wins. If true, they shamed the game.
The video of him in the locker room after breaking Marino's record was good stuff. As far as Loomis listening to other teams coaches I'll reserve judgement for now. There's a lot being made of their record going to 3 and 12 the first season they didn't have home field but I'm not buying that's the cause. With the bounty scandal going on it seems that every one with a gripe will come out of the wood work and pile on. Or maybe it's just me wishing it wasn't so. Just wish the NFL wouldn't drag this stuff out like they seem to.
I'd just like to know why, whenever anyone talks sports, suddenly future tense no longer exists, and everyone talks this idiot language where everything is in present tense. You screwed up the second bullet point, though, thereby calling into question your true dedication to sports talk.
