I'm new to the Athens Ohio area, and I'm taking a day ride over to route 26 this coming sunday, and anywhere else I feel like going in between. Any one that would Like to come post here and we can get something together. I'm going rain or shine, and I'm open to suggestions for the roads we ride as well.
    All makes and models welcome.

    Daily driver: '09 KLR 650 w/ extras.

Last Friday I rode 800 and 26 then 550 over to you. Mucho fun when it was not raining! Welcome to the club.

I'm a nearby neightbor. In fact I passed a KLR with bags on 329 Thurs. or Fri.

Lots of great twistys and dirt all around Athens

Didn't see this thread in time, rt. 260 from the river is great, rt.536 and 255 are REAL tight and twisty. Mucho good riding in that area.
Might try the Hocking Hills area if you haven't already, and rt. 78, 555, and 676.
By the way, I'm near Laurelville. And welcome!

Thanks to every one for the welcome, and some roads to check out. I'm loving not having to drive more than three miles to get to some curves. Hocking hills is a good ride. I went through Laurelville when I made a run on ST RT 56, ST RT 374 and and Thompson's bridge road. Are there any good gravel roads and dirt aside from the trails at Wayne national?

    thanks again to all.
