So with the lack of photos, I'll assume that Trixie never showed up, huh? :cry

Made it to Macon Sunday no problems - other than the cold & rain. Jimbo, not five minutes after you and your Dad turned around from the accident, the second tow truck arrived and the trooper started our line moving through first. Steady cold rain through Athens, GA. Nathan from Boxerworks was at my gas stop just south of the Loop and came over to look at the ST and introduce himself. Out of the rain soon after that stop and suddenly warmer by Madison. Then in Macon during dinner at my sister's we had a thunderstorm hit with good size hail. Of course, the bike was out in the open, but no damage.

Left Macon yesterday in cool rain and fog. Started to dry up down around Cochran/Eastman. Then warm and sunny from south GA on home. Got in about 5:30PM yesterday.

No pictures other than Paul's roommate, so nothing to post.

Had a great time. Good to see everyone again and meet a few new folks.

I didn't take many pictures because of the rain, but here are a few from the Meltdown.

Chris, would that be the crusty kind with a flakey crust? Or the liquid consumable kind typically found in a jar? :lol3

Just in case anyone that checked out Kurt's tent was considering getting one, I ordered one from REI on sale for just under $70 shipped. I'm still hanging in the hammock, but for those times when there won't be any trees or if I want to hit the ground for a change of pace, I figured for $70, I had to get one. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

WOW, that's a pretty good looking tent, even IF Kurt and now Eric own one....... :lol3 May need to buy one just as a backup, and add to the tent collection... :clap
Kurt: How did it hold up in the rain this past weekend?? :ear

It never ceases to amaze me that when I take a day off work 3 or 4 days of work accumulate and I spend a week catching up.

I was gonna ride the Norton up, but after looking at the forecast, I decided to ride my Ducati instead. I had just spent a couple weeks installing a new headlight, heated grips and a socket to run an electric vest so decide this could be the first test run. Glad i did it. :nod

I meant to compliment your ST2 while we were all there. When I had the M900, I started lusting after a ST2 as a sport tourer. I found 2-valve Ducatis to be about as easy as airheads to keep in good condition

I noticed what appears to be a red R80 ST at the Meltdown. Given the number of R80 STs within our extended group and the number occasionally seen out and about, I wonder about numbers that have been posted claiming that out of the 6K+ built only 900+ were imported to the USA. Any idea for sure how many came to the USA?
