Yeah but the way he is headed he seems to need some companion ship. We should drop in on him one day. I could probably arange a free weekend stay at a remote camp for him and the wife

Just absolutely loved randomly finding that sign. Anyone that owns that road has to understand the blatant temptation they are laying forth for adventurers of all sorts.

September 25 I'll be camping at Seneca Shadows campground for the weekend. I have a 205 miles fire road route planned out for Saturday if anyone would like to join!

PS... I'll be riding the 990, so the trip will be big bike friendly... V-strom, Tiger, GS, etc...

Either wayne or cabell. Started working recently near 5th st hill. So been roaming that area after work. Stumbled on this near newcomb creek i think :huh tryin to figure out fun roads that way
tried to google map it, couldn't really figure it out

I know some good trails out that way. Used to ride my KX 80 out there when I was little. Then my Bronco when I was older, and now my KLR. I posted pics of a ride out there on this thread but it was quite a few pages back. Most of the pics I took r on a county road so it's all legal with a DS bike. Ur KTM would be better for the trails out that way. Let me know when ur free and I'll show you around.

absolutely! hit the old pm, i'd especially love to find some of those old county roads, stretch the tigerrrsss legs a bit more

Rocks Hurt. I lost my balance when going over this section of road today (standing on the pegs). Me and the bike made it out, but not without a few dings and whatnot.

Should have been out yesterday. We rode some of those roads along with your favorite, PR13. They must have worked on it. It wasn't as bad as it was last fall. Hopefully MavrickH1 will post a ride report on their weekend ride and Buff36 and I can drop in a photo or two.

I just have a few scratches and bruises. The wind was nocked out of me, but the flack jacket I was wearing did its job.

Next time, I'll carry more speed.

I'm glad you'll be able to make the trip this Sept. I'll be on the 990 and I'm not sure if I'll be doing PR13 on it again. I took on 18 and 13 a few months back on the 990 and I need to get my skills up before doing 13 again on that bike.
