I think think this thread will fit in "Day Trippin' " since i mostly do day tripping and longweekend rides. For some of the rides i shoot videos and my plan is to ride report them in this thread. To collect the former ones i link to my earlier day trip threads.

I'll hope you will enjoy some of them :)

First report is from the first ride this year, a father and son ride in March. This was the first sunny day warm enough to take a ride with some comfort. Me and my son went to places in the surrounding of Trollhättan where we live. Up on Hunneberg a flat top mountain for som gravel roads, then to a outdoor dealer and bought some dry freezed meal to test out with the Trangia stove at a beach. A great ride to bond with my son trying to get him offline, didn't work completely ;)

    Enjoy :ricky

This is a video from a short trip at the winding gravel roads at Vargfjället (in english tranlsated to "Wolf Mountain" this gravel road ends in the smal town Ljungskile at the Swedish west coast.

The purpose for the trip except from having fun with the 1200GSA was to try out a mounting spot for the GoPro remote control on the handlebars. I also used the GoPro Flexible Jaws mount for the GoPro Cam at all "scenes". I attached it to tree's and stuff like that with ease to be able to act both as pilot and "Claudio" :D

Two days later on 25th April i went for a adventure riding event, Vårslasket No Limits Edition 2014. 3 days of pure fun riding on gravel roads, forestroads and tracks in the provinces Halland and Småland of Sweden. In total i rode close to 1000 Km / 600 miles on fun roads with the ride to and from included. I met up with a couple of friends on the way to Fegen, where the basecamp was located for the adventure. We become a great team that sticked togeather on the rides whole this weekend. At the evenings we had afterbike's with some :freaky

A small misstake by me when changeing direction riding in a road with deep ruts, "forced " me to step down a fot from the peg to the ground, that twisted my knee badly. Ligaments and meniscus got stretched and hurt, but i was able to continue to ride, sitting down more and be careful with my leg.

All in all a great and well organized event with close to 50 riders.

14th of May, i put on a pair of 33mm handlebar risers on the 690 Enduro and whent for a test ride. This was a great improvement over stock height but not perfect. Then I moved the handlebar to the forward position by turning the handlebar clamps, took a testride again and this felt perfect! :)

This is a little video from my surroundings testing the new set up :D

22-24 August i went on a weekend with new riding buddys. Theese guys is collegues at my work and this was first time riding with them. Isn't it great to have a large network of great riding buddys? We went to the province Värmland of Sweden. Värmland is a perfect adventure riding paradise. We rented a room at a hostel in Glaskogen that we used as a base camp for the rides. This place is very close to Glava a small village where Kenny Bräck (Brack) is born and raised, if you are interested in US Cart racing you probably know about this guy :)

I also tested out my new soft luggage system from Motonaut. Which i think suits great on the 690 :)

    However, we had a blast!

    Enjoy/

A video from Dala Rally 18-21 Sept. We had a Rally in the province Dalarna of Sweden. This was a great event with some touch of culture beside drinking beer and sauna baithing. Along the gravel roads and forest tracks we stoped and explored some of this province herritage of mining iron. Old mine and a very well preserved old smithy is the highlights in this video.
