Post Pictures of your CT90 / CT110

The true battle scooter. If Armageddon were approaching this is the bike I would take. Will take you anywhere using 60 octane gas and vegetable oil while returning 100 mpg. I just got my 78 back and cleaned up for some summer fun. I love these bikes.

My first bike was a 1966 CT90. Leading link front fork and overlay low range sprocket. First year of the overhead cam. I put 10,000 miles in one year on that sucker.

I want a 110 dual range now Yellow please...

Here's a photo of a pair of 1998s that I bought earlier this summer. Both under 80 km and came with a pile of spares. In fact the bikes themselves were the seller's spare bikes, which he had never needed.

What, was he a survivalist and had put these away so he'd always have something to ride after the nuclear wars???

In 1970 I bought a new CT90 then later traded it for a bigger bike. Bought a couple used ones in 87 and have kept them around. Put new Lifan 110 engines on both this spring.

Here's the CT90 Rat Bike that I use to run around town. Forks, wheel, extra tank are from a XR100.

Owned for several years, but never bonded with it.

Too Cantankerous for Girlfriend to learn on.

Downsides: No Blinkers, Upside-Down Shift Pattern, Hard Seat, Short travel Suspension.

Upside: sold for $100 more than i paid for it.

This is the easiest bike for beginners to learn on, stick it in 2nd gear and let them putz up and down the driveway at 12 mph. There's no manual clutch and the twist range on the throttle is much larger than a 1/4 turn throttle grip.

What can i say?

You get spoiled riding a Honda Elite.

If we lived on a farm instead of the city, i would not have sold it.

Hey Moth, what year XR100 forks are those? They seem a little long, do XR80's work and are the shorter? Seems like a cool mod for a little extra travel...

The forks, handlebars, front wheel, and gas tank are from a 1990 Honda XR100R. The are a little long but they work great and the bike handles well. I don't know about the XR80 forks.
