This is what most people expect to see in Baja. The truth is.......as long as you are not carrying any drugs or guns with you, the military is there to make thing safe so you can roost all you want

I guess I should explain this picture. In Baja, there are a lot of military check points look for drugs and gun. Since we don't have either, then we are on our way without delay. Sometimes they ask to see a wheelie, but that's about. This picture was taken a few years back. Before these guys were getting killed by the drug runners, they were more friendly and you could take pictures with them. Now they are more business and professional. But in this case, we asked them to take this picture and it is one of my favorites!

If you have ever ridden your motorcycle all the way to Cabo, you know the excitement doesn't end once you get off your bike. There are some fun things to do in this town that has changed from a sleepy fishing village to a Mexican Las Vegas in just 20 short years. Actually Cabo is not my favorite place in Baja but I still have a lot of fun when I go and look forward to spending a few days there.

Here is my favorite place I have ever stayed (Pedrigal)
