Audi could buy Italian bike maker Ducati - Ducaudi anyone?

I believe AMG already did. they just have not announced it yet.

They were interested (amongst others) but Audi is gonna grab 'em and they have 1st dibs!!!

Got my wife an Audi in August.
The two must have been scheming in the garage.

I was in Borgo Panigale last October and took this picture as I waited for the tour. Guess what could be Andrea's car.





I know someone who works at Ducati. I bet he does not want any changes. But sometimes it is the only way to survive in business. I have an Audi, like these cars, I look forward to that combo.

It is rumored that Audi has an option to buy, to be exercised by end of April. The Wall Street seems to have latest information, and different than all other papers in terms of Ducati's current liability levels and what Audi is rumored to be putting on the table.

One would hope a move like this would mean an expanded dealer network for Ducati.

Certainly sounds MUCH better than the speculation that a company in India was looking at Ducati. :eek1

Audi is owned by the VW group. Even if Audi is buying it they are going to be a subsidiary of the VW Group.

I can live with Audi. Except for a decade long span that ended a few years ago, I've always really liked their vehicles.

I feel quite luxurious on mine, often ride with a top hat and tails.

The bills are luxurious. I think of my Duc as the "mistress." Lots of fun but always wants a new piece of jewelry or another $100.

You want real luxury, you need to get yourself a nice piece of HD chrome butt-jewelry. Those things are so purty, they should sell them at Tiffany's.
