Mom always told me, two wrongs dont make it right, but it does make us even....

    True story, Last night.....

Shoreline Washington, thursday night about 630pm (Seattle)

On my 990s, 4 lane devided road, 35mph.
Wearing an alien vomit yellow Olympia ADV jacket, gloss white Arai, kind of hard/impossible to miss, in fact those things hurt your eyes.

I see this young teen girl, brand new Honda civic with her girlfriend to the left coming across traffic. Usual things going on in the cage, cell phone, friend talking, smoking and attempting to drive.
    :huh
She squirts into the turn lane....and I know she is going to cut me off.
So I distance, look for an out, slow etc, ...sure enough.......she looks right at me and hits the gas peddle. She missed, I was ready for her...but I was slightly torqued.:asshat

couple of miles up the road at a 4 way light, lots of cars every direction, we are pointed up hill on our lanes, and I am behind her (with a safe separation).
All of a sudden a "person of interest" sprints through the intersection...next thing is lights of Seattle's finest at warp six ------lights going in, in hot pursuit.
    kewl.........I like watching stupid hurt.
    :lurk

Now its goes ballistic......another car, Starskey and Hutch around the corner through the intersection, lights, siren etc etc.....tires screeching..and another and another.....about a dozen....
thinking...wow......Iraq flashback here someone is going to get capped.

No one can move with all the emergency vehicles sliding to a stop right in the intersection...so we just watch the show....:freaky

Cop #3...hard reverse, smokes his tires, backs up, brake slides and aims his patrol just opposite and up the hill from my lanes of traffic....gets out, foot pursuit time.....but he didnt get the gearshift in P, He nailed the big "N" with the gear select.....

    OOOOOPS
    :yikes

Yep......patrol starts rolling back......shit.....not good, headed towards me...so I getting ready to white line, sidewalk it and exit stage left...cop sees his car, runs out of the bushes, attempts to climb in the patrol (he is running at a full-up sprint now)...and the patrol swerves just a bit, away from me....
    Whew....
    :rayof

....screw it he cant stop his patrol and its moving good now...steep hill.......

    Yep...

    You guess right.....
the Patrol slams into the Civic that cut me off a couple of miles back...
    :wings

impact slides the civic in the lane a bit....couple of Grand $$$ worth of damage...

so....I pull up, get eye contact with the civic driver who is spazing out.....lift my Arai visor and "gesture" and pretend to tip my hat and leave....

    Karma?

I dont know, guess folks shouldnt cut a KTM off I guess.

...........but the reality show was kewl.....like a Hollywood chase scene.....
    :clap

has nothing to do with the girl per se....

heck I see men and women my age, eating cereal out of bowls, reading the newspaper etc while driving......folks just have too many things to distract them in the car and are not Responsible....what it gets down to....

    sheesh...

there is merit to the old, "Too Close for missles, switching to guns...."

    sigh.......

Cant imagine how much crap that cop is getting from his buds back at the station!!

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

I hope the cop wrote them a ticket for hindering/interfering in a police matter.
