Do you have a speedo as I can't tell from the pics? If so, what are you using?

I noticed you pushed the front forks up to give it a lower stance. Did you do anything to lower the rear or did you keep it stock? I was considering lowering my forks too, but mount the clip-on handlebars on the very top. Any issue with doing that?

    hey Ivan,
i also love the tank how it came out, just as i imagined. Its basicly a cover.
I took an old broken GFK habermann Racing tank (german mfg) and sliced it in pieces,on the end i only had the sidepanels left. Those i stuck with some industrial glue on the original tank ,in its original position. After the sidepanels stuck proper ,i laminated the gap closed and just left a hole for the original Gascap, thats why the gascap is flush on the top.
After all ,just sanding ,and wraping in candy green foil. it gives the Bike a new line, which goes with the tail and the fairing.
    Hope i could help,cheers

It looks really good. On some of the customs the cut outs on the bottom front of the tank don't bother me, but it really stands out (not in a good way) on others.
Nice work on over coming that issue.

Is the top triple tree original to this bike? I want to find one to replace mine as it has the built in handlebars clamps.

Where did you get that flyscreen? Does it bolt onto the headlight brackets?

I still have the screen. It's CF and I will sell for $100 shipped. I do not remember where.

Thanks, but I found a flyscreen from a late model Monster that fits perfectly with my setup.

Yes. If it has the same connection, there are 2.
One in the front, old one
One in the back, newer version

Thanks. Perhaps in a few months I will remove the fairing and install a headlight and instrument "cluster" setup similar to your excellent example.

I've got a tank on the way, and will be order either a 13.2" or 14" progressive shock from Amazon today, depending on what is correct for the bike. I'm wondering if 13.2" is for shorter riders like me, haven't been able to find info as yet..could it be as simple as measuring it from bolt nut to bolt nut?

    Your imagination.

The tank info' is in your thread. There is only one mounting style for the 75 tank.

Center of eye to eye measurement when on the center stand.

Be aware that paralever K's run a longer shock. You do not want one of those.

This is my solution to hiding the clunky instrument cluster. The flyscreen is from a late model Monster. Much cheaper than replacing the cluster right now.
