Welcome to the freedom of self-supported motorcycle travel with Giant Loop's adventure proof packing systems and gear. Designed by riders for riders in Bend, Oregon USA. Backed by a lifetime warranty against defects. Most of our ultra-rugged and stable designs do not require metal luggage racks, eliminating pounds of dead weight and multiple points of failure. And our rack-mounted, expedition-proven soft luggage options weigh pounds less than others. Our philosophy: Go light, go fast, go far!

Since 2008, we have been a rider owned company that started in no small part because of the inspiration found here in the Adventure Rider forum community. Today, there are six of us here working hard everyday to improve the adventure riding experience for our friends, customers - and ourselves (three of the four of us ride dirt, dual sport and adventure bikes).

We look forward to your questions, feedback and especially your pics and ride reports from your travels with Giant Loop - whether it's a couple hours of ripping single track in the woods, or a multi-year around the world journey. This is what drives us to design and build the very best solutions for riders - and to continually improve our products and company on every level and and aspect of performance.

You'll find many pages of helpful information - and some impressive badassery - here in our "2014 Giant Loop" thread. New year, new start!

And as a small token of our appreciation for you, The Inmates of ADV, we offer a free Giant Loop cap or t-shirt with every order on our website. Please use this code when you check out in our webshop: ADVinmate . It will "automagically" discount the price of a short-sleeve cotton "Go light. Go fast. Go far." t-shirt or ball cap from your total.

    Thanks for riding with us!

Working in conjunction with 4-time Baja 1000 winner Quinn Cody and the Kurt Caselli Foundation, Giant Loop developed the Tracker Packer™ to help keep off-road racers safer. Giant Loop will donate a portion of all sales of the Tracker Packer to the KURT CASELLI FOUNDATION!

Stay safer in the backcountry during all of your outdoor adventures — motorcycling, snowmobiling, hiking, backpacking, climbing, biking, boating — with help the push of a button away. Plus, you and others can track your routes.

The super rugged and secure Tracker Packer firmly attaches the SPOT Gen3 device to your pack’s shoulder strap, handlebars, fork tube, arm or many other locations. NOTE: Wearing the SPOT on your body with the unit in a horiztonal position is the best practice.

Available separately or packaged as a combo with the SPOT Gen3 for the same price as the device alone, this simple system represents peace of mind for you and the people who care about you!

Enduro racer and Baja tour guide Chilly White (Enduro360.com) has probably put more miles on GL's MoJavi Saddlebag than any other rider in the world!

How many miles do you have on your Giant Loop gear?

Giant Loop's new Tracker Packer makes several appearances in this video shot at the 2014 Baja 500 - we tested prototypes with Quinn Cody and the Kurt Caselli Foundation.

Adrian from Singapore writes: "The dirt road sections were actually part of the main highway in Laos. One short section of about less than 20 kilometers from Vientiane to Luang Prabang. The second much longer section was on the way from Luang Prabang to Oudomxay. 90km of gravel, dirt, mud, clay and sand in mountainous terrain. Took me 5 hours to cover 90km!"

Photo update from Tolga Basol’s “Ride Must Go On” travels around the world. For the past few months, he’s been in the USA after retrieving his KTM 1190 Adventure from British Columbia, Canada, where it was ocean-freighted from Asia. Tolga’s Siskiyou Panniers, Tillamook Dry Bag, Pronghorn Straps and Fandango Pro Tank Bag have been punished over the past the year on a journey that began in Turkey and spanned the continent of Asia off-road.

Canadian rider and Overland Adventure Rally organizer Lawrence Hacking’s article recounting his experiences racing the Mongolian Rally appear in the February 2015 issue of American Motorcyclist magazine, published by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA). He rode a 2014 Honda CRF 450X with Giant Loop’s MoJavi Saddlebag throughout the rally, and here’s what he wrote about it: “To lighten the load on myself, I used the Giant Loop MoJavi bags to carry the heavy items that I would likely need to finish, such as tools and a spare inner tube.”

Sandy Borden washes her face in Guatemala! Sandy, her husband Terry Borden and their teenage son Jack are the “Adventure Trio,” and the three of them are riding BMW GS from their home in northern California to the southernmost tip of South America. After a couple of months on the road, the Adventure Trio is in Central America now. Sandy’s using he Fandango Pro Tank Bag you can see in the photo above – enhanced with a little Guatemalan-style bling. Follow the Adventure Trio's travels here.

The first production units of Giant Loop's new <a title="Giant Loop Tracker Packer SPOT Gen3 Holster" href="http://giantloopmoto.com/products/tracker-packer-spot-gen3/" target="_blank">Tracker Packer</a> just shipped to customers who pre-ordered - and to Quinn Cody and the <a title="Kurt Caselli Foundation" href="http://www.kurtcaselli.com/" target="_blank">Kurt Caselli Foundation</a> for the <a title="SCORE San Felipe 250" href="http://score-international.com/score-international-official-race-tracking-program/" target="_blank">2015 San Felipe 250</a>!

Giant Loop is donating a portion of all Tracker Packer sales to support the Kurt Caselli Foundation's mission:

    <em><strong><a href="http://giantloopmoto.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/CASELLI_FOUNDATION_FINAL-jpeg.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-4385" src="http://giantloopmoto.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/CASELLI_FOUNDATION_FINAL-jpeg-150x150.jpg" alt="Kurt Caselli Foundation logo" width="150" height="150" /></a>Protecting and Supporting the Lives of Off-Road Riders.</strong></em>

<em>The Kurt Caselli Foundation was established in 2013. The focus of the foundation is the safety of riders and racers in the off-road motorcycling industry. While we understand the inherent elements of danger in this industry, we aim to help minimize this danger to the best of our ability. The foundation has a three-part mission that encompasses safety precautions for riders before, during, and after a racing career.</em>

<em>1. Before racing, we are committed to encouraging, developing, and standardizing safety precautions that will help minimize risk outside of the rider's control.</em>

<em>2. During racing, we are committed to developing, establishing, and encouraging the use of safety equipment and policies to increase the safety of the riders.</em>

<em>3. After racing, we are committed to providing a safety net that allows and encourages former racers to further their education and reach career goals for themselves and their families.</em>

The Tracker Packer represents a year-long collaboration between Giant Loop and the Kurt Caselli Foundation, with multiple Baja 1000 champ Quinn Cody providing direction and prototype testing. Order the SPOT Gen3 and the Giant Loop Tracker Packer as a combo - for the price of the SPOT Gen3 alone. Already own a SPOT Gen3? Then get the Tracker Packer only!

Giant Loop Moto&#8217;s made-for-adventure Columbia Dry Bag strapped right onto the Ski-Doo&#8217;s short-track tunnel using the integrated mounting straps like it was made to fit there, giving me access to cameras and gear without unstrapping the bag &#8211; just unroll from either end. We hammered miles of whooped-out trail, and the bag never budged. You can see the airlines baggage tag still on there &#8211; this bag does it all!

Giant Loop customer Hilton writes: "A good day in Lesotho with my trusty KTM and Giant Loop." He's mounted the Great Basin Saddlebag in front of the rear fuel fill on his KTM 690 Enduro - and he's kept the middle of the saddlebag packed with a low profile.
