I found somebody that will take my On Call for that weekend for 100 bucks, unless training or a family emergency comes up. I have mixed feelings about this.


The wife needs to approve this, and if the contract for the place I am at stays, I can make it.
After not being on call for years, this year I am on 4 times and 2 of the 3 Holidays in the first half of the year. I wonder how I pissed off my boss.

I guess I did win a lottery, of a sorts. He charges that for a normal week, and both mine are Holidays.
I think he is getting tired of taking them.

I've missed a lot of BYOBs in the last few years but it's looking good that I can make this one. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm going back and forth whether to ride there or drag the 300. The missus just wants me gone, so it sounds like I'm 3/4 assed committed now

My wife agreed, so I emailed the guy today. I am going to ask my boss for those days off today as well, with the caveat that I am still at this on site gig.
It's looking good right now though.

If you don't ride, you have to carry all our extra stuff, and my guitar. Those are the rules. I didn't make them, sorry.

Anything for you, you're my hero. Everyone else pays though (up front(in scotch)).

I can't say as I would blame you either way, but you really should try riding to a rally. If this is too far, one of the Guzzi rallies this summer in MN or here would be good, or you could come to the BMW local rallies and get all pretentious and shit.

It really can be/is an Adventure to ride and camp.
