I think you're in the Bay Area? If so I'm going to be up that way SOMETIME this summer. Now if I can remember :norton

I threw together some video from our short excursion up the Cannell Trail. Ya, it's too long, and there is no music (friggen copyright lawyers!), but there's just too much good riding on the trail to cut it down! :lol3

Wow, nice. I'm so jealous. That thing's just about as big as my house. If you find yourself with any spare time when you come up to the Bay Area, the wifey and I would love to have you over for dinner.

Sweet vid. I only watched the first couple of minutes (I'm at work) but I'll check out the rest this eve. I need a fricking dirt/dualsport bike dammit.

That would just about double the value of my KLR...just saying.

Noob report - was supposed leave on Thursday with YetiGS and ride up together but work had other plans for me. I soloed up Sat AM from San Diego area in some pretty good rain but cleared up until some very nasty winds from Lancaster to halfway up the Tehachapi which was replaced with fog and sleet. Saw another lone Klr rider on the 14 but he smartly turned around at the 58. Never thought my Klr was too light until then.

Had a great time, great beer, great food and thanks for the effort Gerg and everyone else. Had a great ride home finding some new back roads to explore. Oh yeah... great prizes but the raffle sucked!! :D

Favorite hat - WEED POLICE (other than that thing on Gerg's head - did we eat that for dinner?)
    Favorite shirts -Vegetarian lol
Favorite bike - Super Ten - Nice!
Favorite beer - whatevers in my glass (the red was real good though)
    Favorite trails - next year...

I get cold just looking at those pics. But guess what? Still a lot of familiar smiling faces.

    :clap

I really wish I could have been there.. :cry

We are not too far from you. I've been keeping my eye on the Central Valley Dual Sport Rides more fun good times thread for some time. We are in Turlock. Our thread, Sierra Nevada Foothill Rides - San Andreas to Oakhurst, is not as active as yours, but we try to keep it updated. We usually ride between Mariposa and Sonora, but I'm definitely not opposed to meeting up a little further south. We spend most of our time on the fire roads, but play on the single track when we happen across it. The XR650L is a pig, but I seem to manage okay. :D

This belongs on a Xmas card. At least one you'd send to your ADV buddies.

    Good Job, Gerg!!!

It was a too short but fun weekender for me. Snowing like a bastard on the way over the Grapevine on Saturday morning. Good company, eats, and drinks Saturday night. And under 75 minutes to do the 75 miles from McKitrick to Santa Margarita on the way home on Sunday

    Let's do it again!

Hope you all had a good time playing in the snow. Ours is almost gone up here in the North. You southerners need snow once in awhile. Good to hear that dyvking did not drink too much.
