    My brother and I shared this 1969 Triumph Tiger. The picture was taken in 1971 on Thibeault Hill, just north of North Bay, Ontario. I was on my way from Kirkland Lake to Toronto, about 400 miles each way. Got a big surprise when my mother decided she wanted to go too!

    1977. On my way from Niagara Falls to my sister's cottage in Maine. That Duke was a great touring bike. Big tank, smooth, seat was thinly padded but had good support, great torque band, steady as a rock.

    Bout 1975 i'd reckon. Note headlight gone. I'd had a nasty off after a bad landing on a rather large jump...hit it at 30kph (flat out) with no helmet...I still blame Mr Knievel for that.

    Hi Everyone,

    Well, this is a great thread, I've looked through it a few times and smiled at some of the photos from riders pasts.... here's one from the UK in 1974 of me and my treasured CB175, back in the days of platform boots and flares. The CD175 Honda next to it is my pal Pete's, we later went on to buy matching Suzuki 380 GT's, with ram air system :rofl

    And here's one of our next bikes, Suzuki 380 GT's at New Brighton, Wirral by the old pier, now well gone :-(

    Really I wanted a Honda 500 Four, but it was just that bit out of my price range.

    That looks like an old Honda trail 70. Most of the ones I saw had been crashed so many times that the handlebars were bent until they touched, and the handgrips were only about 6 inches apart. :lol3
