heading out for the RUTS race this weekend for a wham-bam race day. We have family stuff to take care of this weekend so I think we're going to come out Saturday morning and sign up race and head home.

    RUTS always has cool fliers!

Just got back from RUTS this very moment. We had to head back super early as we have prior engagement this evening....

    BUT!

From what Mike tells me.... I was -

1st place Novice on the bomb.

1st place Novice on loop 1!

    finished 3rd in class

    for my first Novice race!

Yeah yeah, don't break your arm patting yourself on the back :lol3

You had real decent start, 1st novice at the bomb, at the end of the 1st loop you were 2nd novice and still leading your class. You need to get in better shape ( I love telling youngsters that :rofl )

    Good job AJ!

Weird thing I hardly remember the start - too much adrenaline!

I very excited to see the results.... the bike worked flawlessly as usual. The 525 is really an incredible bike. That coupled with incredible suspension really make it what it is.

I need to sort out my front brake. I bled it but its still mushy...I dont really use brakes in the desert but on the street they are totally inadequate.
