Tire tube size conversion

    Will a 3.5/4.0-17 tube work fine with a 130/80-17 rear tire?

    It would be mighty stretched out...

    130 is about the same as 5.10 in inch sizes, so you'd want a somewhat bigger tube.

    you'll be fine. 4-4.5 is ideal but there's no issue with what you have, just will be a slight bit thinner than ideal.

    decent chart showing conversion tire sizes.

    I'd probably be more concerned about the Sedona tube (cheaper) vs. a higher quality tube but I ride more off road so tube quality is very important. Just replace it sometime down the road. no issues riding to MI and back that you wouldn't have with any other tube.

    Cool, thanks. I'll bring my old Bridgestone tube along as a spare just in case, although I'd rather not have to change tubes on the shoulder of the interstate...
