Dayum, Slade. Your first post and you hit it out of the park! Outstanding video. This really brought a smile to my face. Now off to a meeting.

Who are you and what are you doing in this forum? Shouldn't you be somewhere talking about crash bars, kick stands, and counter steering? Get your head on straight, boy. Keep the rig. You need to have an outfit around just to go to Costco.

A few details. The bike is a BMW R1150GSA (my02). The front fork is a Sauer and the supportframe is a modified Sauer. The sidecar-specific building work was done by Mueller Gespanne. The rest I did myself. The rear-axle drive is from the R850GS (ratio 37/11). The sidecar is a shortened Mobec Enduro. It has been modified in such a way that our dogs can sit in there and enjoy the scenery.:deal
Additionally there is a door added to the sidecar which is - when opened - a ramp for the dogs, so they can climb in and out by themselves :D
I have three Zarges box (2x#40837 @ sidecar, 1x40678 as topcase) and the panniers are Odyssey I from Jesse-luggage. All together, I have about 550l of space for all sorts of sensible and nonsense stuff :deal
Of course I had to test ...:evil

Besides the 30l fuel tank - I have 2x10l reserve cans - maybe I need to share some with Milady's bike :crash

More pics, details and the story of SilberWolf can be found here. :deal

I will have some more pics later ... right now the bike is slight disintegrated :eek1

I honestly don't know the brand of wheel. Just know that they're not stock. The bags are nice fiberglass jobbies that stay *relatively* moisture free. :)
