How many miles do you want to ride, and are you staying on pavement?

I've got bad memories of hogback. Last time i went there a cattle truck had been on it and there was cow crap all over the road. I smelled like i had been rolling in patties all day. Bike was covered in it.

Reminds me of an experience we probably all have had, but was riding down interstate and realized it was starting to sprinkle, until I soon realized no...I was behind a cattle hauler, yuck! :rofl

I'll have 4-5 hours that I can ride and I'm also looking to get off the pavement but I'm on a V-Strom so nothing to gnarly.

You could spend a good half day riding the unpaved fishing roads around Draper.

I only live around 3 miles from Draper. I ride there at least once a week (when theres not snow on the ground). I'm looking to branch out a try some new places.

In town for work, depending on weather I'd like to do some exploring this weekend.

May be entertaining. They just reconditioned the west side two weeks back when I took my 950 out. Pretty fluffy and well I dunno how packed it has gotten since then but could be a great mud fest if they don't close the gates.

Ensey, are you ever planning to get Mad Max away from his dealership? Last time I know he was out he was cussing me for all he was worth. Something about being left behind...:lol3 I think he is in need of another trip to Big Bend on the KLR. I don't think he would want to take the S10.:deal

Maybe a 3-4 day weekend trip to either Clayton or Shady Lake sometime in the next few weeks.

Speaking of Mr. Max.. I called every dealer this side of anywhere and his place is the only one who has a countershaft seal in stock. +1 for them! Looks like I'll go see them today.

He'll never get over it. Dan didn't know how long we waited for him...EVERYWHERE. Ensey thought he might have been out in Warr Acres yesterday but I think we cleared that up after they arrested someone else. :lol3

Now that's funny, if Mad Max would read these posts he would know how much fun he is missing.:lol3. Any chance we can get him off the couch and get him to make the Hillbilly Dual Sport in Eureka Springs.:huh

Well, I didn't see anyone mad or even max but I have a shiny new seal. They do have a really cool Ural Hack and a used Transalp twin in stock.
