Good scenery only gets great when there is water involved. Waterfalls make a river impressive, lakes give a valley that special something - and riding in one direction for days on end only to end up at an ocean is one the many great feelings of accomplishment you get while riding.

I didn't find any thread here that covers the pictures I would like to share and see, so I thought I'd start a new one. :1drink

One more, Waterton - Glacier park, rode there with my son several years ago. We took LOTS of "water" pictures in Alberta and BC, what a glorious place:

Probably pretty good. WV stocks them on a regular basis. I don't do trout.

I do know there is some nice whitewater if you're there at the right time. :D

Now that I think of it, I guess technically this isn't on the BRP. It's on Skyline drive and I'm certain it's the James River.

Those pics of Rob Roy Reservoir hit close to home for me - my daughter lives in Laramie and my folks live in Cheyenne. I went to University of Wyoming in Laramie (I was on the decade plan :D, havin' lots of fun) and rode that country every chance I got. The Medicine Bow NF has a million miles of two-track roads and endless camp sites, glorious fishing, wonderful scenery. One of my most vivid memories of that area was following my buddy down the road along French Creek toward the North Platte, he was doing these beautiful powerslides around the curves on his Husky WR250, I was hanging back a ways to let the dust settle, then suddenly there were no more powerslides. Hmmmm, where's Jon?!? Turn around, hear a feeble voice from down off the road in the creek, he's shot off the turn and launched about 50 feet into a big clump of willows! :rofl I had to ride back to the truck, load my bike, and come back in the truck with a tow rope to get him out of there. He landed in the only safe spot for miles; everywhere else it was just boulders.

From the Wind Rivers above my home in Lander, WY:

    You should recognize this place:

I had the place all to myself until about 100 boy scouts moved in and set up camp right across the road from mine. They were cool, reminded me of when I was a Scout about 1000 years ago:

The OP is right - water does enhance the experience!
