    Hi everyone,

I'm Vittorio, a med student from Italy (22yo)

After a pretty bad crash with my Dr-z [IMG] I decided i wanted something different.

I realized that my ideal bike would have been something very similiar to a Scrambler, but since I'm a student and here in Italy a triumph scrambler costs 6000E USED I knew I would have had to build it myself :norton

I bought a cheap a 83' NX650 dominator and started working on it in my garage.

I decided not to cut/modify the frame cuz i wanted to stay "legal" or at least try

The tank is from a (69?!?) Honda CG125

This was the situation a couple of days ago:

I used an old headlught from a Vespa px125 but it wasn't good so i changed it with a bigger, more powerful and strong one.

I named it Bellerofonte (Bellerophon) as the greek hero, semi-God, son of Poseidon and Eurinome, who became famous as the one who was able to kill the mounstrous Chimera.

After the crash I had an MRI and "luckily" they found something very little and very bad.
During 6 months of treatment this bike was one of the few things that helped me to keep fighting and, finally, get better.

Even if this is my first post I was always a reader of this amazing forum, so i thought to share my story with you.

Hope you have a great weekend,

    Happy for the healing.
    Great bike by the way.
I would liked it better with a bash plate and standard high exhausts, like the one on the scrambler from triumph maybe.
But the bike is your idea, so it's up to you obviously! I really appreciate the work behind it, and the look. It's seems like a sturdy bike, with some classic style!

Really nice work. Where did the fenders come from? Alu or stainless?

Hi, I just had to cut the original bracket, It was pretty easy, 5 minutes and a dremel.

    About the fenders...
Here in Italy it's pretty hard to find cheap good parts, everytime i read what you guys usually pay for parts back in US it makes me wanna move there :rofl
Initially I wanted something custom made but I asked around and the price was crazy: 2000 E :eek1
So i bought these 2 for 180E online, the front one is stainless, the rear one is Alu.
I know it isn't usual to have fenders in 2 different metals but I'm 22, student/broke so I had to improvise :D

Dunno if you're interest but 2day i finished the logo:

    I love it :raabia:raabia

Tomorrow I'm gonna order a couple of pvc stickers ( one on the headlight, the other one on the helmet)
and i was also thinking about ordering a patch for my leather jacket :lol3

Hope you guys had a great weekend, I spent mine studying dermathology :(:

Nice work. Shameful "they" aren't building a nice 400-600cc, 6 speed retro enduro style bike. They are missing the boat on the aging guys who started on XR75s and 1974 DT250s.
