All are invited to my twice yearly enduro ride. It's all on private land so no issues with kids/unregistered but I don't want it to be a peewee50 ride nor a 250 stroke screaming ride ( unless you ride your 250 2 stroke as an adventure/enduro bike). If your kid can do most of what the adults can do but a little bit slower then this is the ride for you/them. There is more than enough hard bits to keep the dads happy and it's up to the kids what they feel happy with. There's waterfalls etc to cool off and generaly a good time will be had by all with a BBQ + beers in the evenings Here is the footage of last time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEWizQyF45A And the link to last times post incase there is something I've forgoten to put in this post. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=906410 Feel free to camp over the night at my house. And feel free to bring the non riders too, my wife will be in all weekend so wether the Mrs want to discuss sewing, childbirth or ride herself she's more than welcome. Contact me on 02 6684 5395 Cheers Gordo' Even though the kids can get to where we will be riding don't kid yourself that it is an easy ride!!!! Full armour required.
You live in the dirt bike equivalent of the Garden of Eden it look's like Gordo'. Cheers to you anyours for the x-mas/new year season and good luck with the january family ride... look's like a hoot and I am droping you a line when next I visit little brother (Tweed coast) for some local (family) riding spot tips! ... be sure and post up some video of this years ride when you are done... PS loved the acoustic guitar soundtrack and vocals on last years!
Would love to meet up again Gordon, the last ride pics looked excellent, but am back at work at that time, just have to wait another 6 months, Allan
Wow!!! that is an awesome invite!! Do we need a 4wd to get in or will sedan be OK ? And what is your favourite drink ? Ralph
Easy access by car, no problem. No need to bring me a drink, just bring your favorite and tell some cool stories in the evening. Cheers Gordo' P.S. any one who intends coming can they PM their phone number.
So far there will be about 8 riders, dads plus kids. It's looking like being quite a challenging ride as most of the kids are aged 10 plus and riding motocross bikes. There is no longer any restriction on noise since the farmers son bought a yz250f, so bring what you like and even if you don't have kids I'm sure you'll learn plenty. Let me know ASAP so I can organise BBQ food etc. Cheers Gordo'
Ralph if you want to give me a call we might be able to accomadate your dog, last time one of the riders brought their dog and it all worked well. Depends on the dog I supose. Cheers Gordo'
Don't miss the ride of our life. It starts tommorow. All welcome for 1 or 2 or 3 days. If you live in Brisabane you probably have heaps of people to ride with but no-where to ride, we have the opposite problem, heaps of places to ride but no-one to ride with. All tracks are a challenge for anything from a GS1200 to a PW50. If you're a chicken don't bother coming but if you want to challenge yourself in safetey come on down. Cheers Gordo'
Hi Gordo I had a ball last time, unfortunately going on a mates birthday ride this weekend. Will have to hook up again . cheers Breil
