Here is what they look like mounted on the bike. These are the prototypes, so, no anodizing, and notice the adjustable length! Very cool!

Cos, that machine work looks the pretty!

Flanny, could you measure the airfilter protrusion above the frame rail?
I had the tank off again laying out the clearances and it looks crushingly close... grrrr

Specifically the rear filter, the front looks to be buried enough.

An SE will have none of these questions since the rear of the tank, above rear carb/filter, is cut away.

Thanks, Peter's mill really leaves a sweet surface finish.

The filters will be about 3/8" lower than what is shown on flanny's bike. I was able to drop the filter a bit down on the velocity stack giving more seat clearance and a better transition from the edge of the filter papper to the start of the velocity stack. As shown on flanny's bike they touched the seat but the revised design didn't.

    Outstanding feedback sir!

I was hopeful that the production piece had incorperated a low enough mounting flange for the airfilter to clear the under tank.

I hear orange anodizing is good for about another half foot-pound of torque between 3500 and 7000 rpm.

    Nice work Chris!

So of course, I ordered Oi-nge...:deal

Better go with the Stealthier Black model, Sakurama!
Don't want to show just how trick your build really is...

    Edit to add:

Chris, hope you-n-yours are staying safe in this storm!

Black here! Actually, I probably would have been fine with machine finish or a bead blast.

Wow, that was a boring week with no power! I lucked out and had no damage but I feel horrible for people who lost property or family to the storm. The parts arrived at the anodizer before the storm but were delayed in getting shipped back out to me. All should be moving again in a couple of days and I'll send tracking info when they ship.

Glad to hear you dodged the messes!
Even better that the parts are still rolling and not lost/damaged!
TTT for a cool project and parts.

Just finished machining the first run of throttle position sensors for the FCR carbs. These brackets are a universal fit and will work on KTM, SV650 and other V twin varb configurations. The sidedraft side by side FCR configuration already comes with TPS mounting features so this kit enables use of a TPS on all FCR carbs.

The 2 piece kit requires 2 holes to be drilled in the throttle cable mounting bracket as shown in the following picture. A drill template will be included with the kit, as will all required hardware.

The shaft adaptor piece is machined from stainless steel and sits around the existing cable pulley. The 2 cone point set screws engage the hollow spring pin that holds the cable pully on to the throttle shaft. This keeps the part concentric on the throttle shaft and prevents binding.

The TPS sensor will need to be calibrated unpon installation, following the standard KTM procedure will work fine. Sakurama, how did you end up calibrating yours?

In the next few days my website will be revised to include an online shopping card for placing orders for the any of the various upgrades and also for complete carb kits with everything pre-installed.

Hope everybody has a happy Thanksgiving. Don't forget to increase spring preload for the post-feast ride!

Brilliant! That is fantastic Chris! I'm in for one for sure.

Any update on the reduced-tension springs?

By the way - in cose folks have forgotten, some early models had improper instructions for setting the TPS.

You have to check this voltage between the Yellow and Black wire. Some early manuals have it as measuring between the Yellow and Blue which is wrong. To measure, you just push the probes in past the rubber seals on the TPS connector to touch the copper on the leads. It is most critical to get the closing voltage between 0.5 and 0.6 v.

It's way easier to take the pins out of the male socket using a thin pick. Remove the pins from the plug and then push them into the female socket and measure from there.

The reduced tension throttle springs just came in and make a noticable difference in reducing throttle effort. Once I get the first round of velocity stacks sent out I'll finish on the online store and the springs will be in there too.
