Over the summer I bout a FT500 Ascot knowing the starter was fried.

    Wouldn't bump, no compression.

Worse fear, totally trashed top end (see Scion posts)

Took it apart this evening, plug out, piston is moving. Can't feel a hole with wire so top end comes off.

    YES!!!

2 stuck valves. Seems like the previous owner let it sit so long they froze in place. Took them out, they look perfect. Going to put in new rings, seals, cam chain and gaskets while it's a part.

I was in that boat with Husqvarna a few years back. It took so long for the TE250's to finally get here, I had gotten out of racing and didn't want it any more. Got my deposit back and just kept my 410

Does anyone want to buy a great starter home in Marion? Great garage space. It hasn't been broken into for over a year now. Latest attractions include a throat slitting at the annual Popcorn Fest downtown today, and about an hour ago I had a tweaker just about OD on Heroin in my backyard.

    Could be worse.

Burglar bleeds to death in campus-area apartment
A man found dead in a University District apartment this afternoon apparently was a burglar who broke out a window with his arm, then bled to death after he severed an artery, police said.

Columbus police were called to Apt. C at 119 Chittenden Ave. shortly before 2 p.m. by three Ohio State University roommates who had just returned back to their apartment after a long Labor Day weekend at home.

They came inside to find a man dead in the living room and blood everywhere.

“By all accounts, it looks like a burglary,” said Sgt. Steven Little of the Columbus police homicide squad.

Little said it appears the man severed an artery in his arm on glass after he broke out a window in the apartment with his fist.

Don't get me wrong I went to OSU but there are only two types of people there. Criminals and victims.
