Looking at the day's track, the finish above Merzouga looks like where we start one of the days on Tuareg Rallye.
If it is, they are going to hit a few km's of small dunettes, soft as talcumn powder, with loads of funnel traps.Could make for an exciting finish!!!

May get sent back to Nav school before January

A lot will come down to how/where NPO have laid the last stretch across the Erg Chebbi... their are som biggish dunes in there... a couple of strategic placed WP's will make it interesting... if the actual route is through the middle (the GPS track on the Ittitrack indicates they pass to the east of the main erg however).

Once the turn north (about now) and head for Merzouga... will it be a drag to the ASS or is there a sting in the tail?
