Looking at this bike hard. I've been a road rider most my life. I rode some power lines as a kid on a TY. I've had a big Tenere for three years and have enjoyed getting in the back country. A bike for single track and these hills and hollers sounds like fun. I'm 55 with 32 inseam 170lbs. Bike size and power curve looks good to me. Not top of the line suspension but not likely I'll out ride it for a while. Should be able to plate it in TN. Good looking to me and lightweight. I guess I bullseye the target buyer. Oh I like it has a fan too. They must know I'll putt around some.

    Don't forget oil injection!:D

Beta says, "It is the perfect bike for riders who wish to play ride without the intimidation of a full size enduro machine or for the expert rider looking to enhance their technical skills."

Yeah I like the oil injection also. Dealer I talked to today said every bike on the first run was spoken for. Beta even cancelled all demo models to dealers to get bikes in paying customers hands. He said I could order one in June for delivery later this year. Beta wasn't sure how well it would sell I guess they know now they are going to sell well. Did I say I think it's a great looking bike:D

It's so beautiful that when mine arrives (July/August - Hopefully) before I pick it up, I am thinking about asking my dealer to take it out on its maiden voyage without me, thrash it & give it to me covered in mud so I don't have to witness the initial debauchery it will inevitably be subject to.

Going out for some trail riding today, then an enduro on sunday on the new X Trainer, the Giant Loop Mojavi bags fit great.
Should be good in the UK wet weather on the Golden Tyres at the enduro, it's very wooded and technical, ideal for the little Beta.

Have done about 200km off road, fuelling spot-on, doing around 14km/litre, 80km before reserve needed.
Absolute delight over rough ground, jumps ditches and drops into streams, and out, like my trials bike.
Have put a 10mm packer under the bars to lift them up and make it easier when standing.

You know, I would be happy to square up the rims on your new Cross-Trainer over the rocks of Colorado and probably even dent that shiny new pipe on one of those rocks for you, all free of charge. What are dirt bike brothers for :lol3

13/51 which is their competition set up, as stock. They also recommend 15/45 in the catologue for trail riding, it would definitely pull higher than what is on it, I was riding trials sections on it yesterday, no problem, and it sits at 55mph on the road easily.
