A tribute to Rocinante, a BMW R1200GS on which I explored north America in the last 15 months. Our greatest adventure was 52 days r/t to Alaska. I took "the best of" pics and created slide show to music. I'll tell you that it is "therapy" for me, as I sold Rocinante last week to make possible a move to Guatemala, study Spanish and work with an NGO. I buy this new Yamaha 125 cc, nice, not expensive and no lot of benzine : 2,30 liters for 100 km. 41 years with motorbikes and now a scoot ...
A friend at work came running in this morning to tell me Backroads magazine ran a photo of Barley and me sharing ice cream at the rally in Missouri in their Oct issue. I emailed the magazine asking if they could send me a digital file of the image...and they immediately did! Very cool photo by Shira Kamil, one of the publishers at the magazine.
