Put up the pics of your self done dual sport conversions, or other cool bikes! Heres my current bike, 2010 Suzuki RMX450, and my old 08 WR450! And heres the WR450
Ye olde six hundred: No horn. Had turn signals, they didn't work. Had mirrors, they didn't work (that got me pulled over once) Brake light switch in the rear but not front. DOT legal tires? Ha Ha Ha No. Muffler packing? I wish. Replaced by the 450EXC with 540 big barrel kit: Brake switch on the front but not rear. DOT tire on the rear but not front. Signals, horn and mirror (singular) work. Some assembly required when I bought it, but worth it. Trading from a Honda to a KTM to improve reliability might not have been the most logical choice on paper, but that 600 was getting so haggard I couldn't keep it running more than 3 weeks at a time. If I was going to wrench more than ride, I might as well ride a light fast badass bike that could start itself electrically. Turns out the KTM keeps itself together pretty nicely.
Heres a few of the other bikes I have owned in the past. (And there's been a lot!) 2009 Yamaha YZ250 2 Stroke 2007 H-D FLHX Street Glide 2007 Kawasaki KX450F 2006 Buell XB12R Firebolt 2006 KX450F
Nice, like the KTM... The whole mirror thing is not very functional because of vibration, but a must have to keep the 5-0 happy!! Idaho is pretty lenient on steet-legal rules, only need a brake light, mirror, and horn so it is pretty basic. And you actually have to use the hand signals or Johnny Law tends to frown on you!
Well I was just posting pics of some of my old bikes to keep the thread alive... Apparently nobody wants to post up their conversions
I could post a pic of my 05 Husqvarna 450, but it is totally street legal. Horn, brake lights, mirrors, DOT's etc... Well here is a pic anyway. (No DOT tire on rear in this pic) <!-- / message --><!-- sig --><!-- / message -->
Both the RMX and the WR at the top have brake light, brake light switch, horn, horn button and mirror. No turn signals for me, thanks just something else to get torn off, I went through 3 license plates with the WR!
