Being acquainted with Mr Laverty's flight plans, I don't think he'll succeed. He's off to Italy on Tuesday, but I don't think he'll make it as far as Noale.

    Krop,

I tried the Italian to English translation on my computer. It comes up with the image but no text.....

Was it THAT BAD that it couldn't be translated?? :lol3

Guess certain colorful dialogue just doesn't convert to another language.

Wonder if Crutchlow can get it converted to true English?

I'm not sure Google has a bullshit to English translation mode.

    SBK or Moto GP?

If Moto GP, what are they going to do with Spies?

I suspect Spies will race in WSBK next year.

be careful what you wish for....Honda reasoning is that moto 3 should be relatively cheap.,so their engines reflect that philosphy. If people keep saying their engines are weak they might get offended and build some real engines,at a cost of course

That's exactly what they're going to do for next year. Full fat factory engine with only a few teams supplied, with Rins and Marquez on the bike. They will destroy KTM, then pull out of the class.

One of those two will have to go to Yamaha. Marc Marquez will be at Repsol for a while yet...

I'm guessing Dani is short timing right about now. Hell, they all are! The talent coming up through the ranks after Marquez is something to behold! A NEW evolution of Aliens is on the way! :clap

The race itself was about as usual, fun and a few nice passes in the mid pack, the drama at the front almost seemed staged to me. How in the heck could Honda not know specifically what the rule stated and meant about not exceeding 10 laps before the bike exchange.

What I read on Asphalt & Rubber that was supposed to be Honda's answer/excuse was lame. They claimed that they thought the rule meant they could run a full lap at the ten count then come in on what would be the 11th since Marquez had not completed the lap by entering the pit's.
I believe any competent team manager would have asked that question during the meeting when the race was shortened a second time.

The whole thing is a joke and the tire supplier should have done testing after the track was resurfaced.
    Not GP's finest day IMHO.

Why is the track surface at PI so abrasive anyway, I'd have thought that there is an "industry standard" of what's acceptable at high profile venues?

No meeting. As Edwards reported in his Twitter page they noticed the teams with "a piece of paper that passed around with race rules". Not a great communication effort...:deal
