Seriously tho, thanks Alan - was a fantastic trip - al lot of new tracks for all of us. Well done DR Ozzy for leading us thru some great roads to start with (wouldn't mind heading back up there for a day trip some time again soon).

Should get Day 2 RR up later tonight.

If anyone's interested, we have a spare seat in a Triton dual cab heading to Alice and Finke for the race. The 'possible' 4th person has just had to pull out. We're happy to travel with three but if someone is breaking their neck to go, here's their chance. Share of fuel, and camping all the way there and back. Getting back into metro Wed pm.

Will be at Scutineering Friday night, Prologue Saturday morning and then head down towards Finke....hoping to camp there Sat, Sun and Mon nights before heading for home with an overnighter at Coober Pedy, or thereabouts.

Have got trailer, railway sleepers and a chainsaw.

    Pbee, Capt Kaos and I.

I believe Kipo's grid girl is looking for a lift. She spent all her money on makeup, miniskirts, umbrellas and profilactics. :eek1
Now she can't afford the bus fare to Alice.

    Here's her profile pic -

I wish I could as it's on my bucket list but as I've had the last 4 wed off for mid week ride I could be pushing it a little, sounds like a ripper trip.

I have to move to Canberra by the end of the month, and I have a stack of motorcycle magazines (trailzone, practical sportsbikes etc.) that are not going to follow me so if you need some freebie reading material on the dunny PM me!

Yes, seems to have a massive fit over the site. Never seen another like it. :huh Usually something comes up on the screen from any website but that just comes up with a page full of script blocks. Maybe it's just the way the website page is set up.

After a bit of a look around on this years Finke Desert Race site, I do believe that a chap hailing from Port Augusta, (a fellow ADV rider) that goes by the name of Mr. Kipling (to some) not only finished this tough desert race but did it in a pretty respectable time to boot. Congrats to you " Mr Kipling" , a mighty effort. My hat is off to you.:clap
