No, not really. But I gotta get a fender on my new airhead/sputnik hack!

Anyone got an actual Sputnik fender collecting dust? :evil Or maybe an alternative suggestion? I'm thinking that a BMW airhead rear fender might do the trick too -- if someone near Seattle has an old beat-up one, I'm interested!

I've been riding the snot out of this thing -- got my S/TEP class coming up this weekend. What a great way to get around! Now I understand how you all can develop "sidecar dependency" issues. :clap

Consider going to Bent Bike and seeing what fender fits.

What kind of tug is pulling that box? Looks like a nice rig

Bent Bike is great for a bunch of stuff (in fact, that little bullet tail/brake light) but I was disappointed in the giant pallet rack full of mostly chrome fenders oxidizing in the rain for like $50 each. Maybe I didn't have the patience to dig deeper when I was there -- you're right though doug, I should check again.

Oh, and thanks -- the tug is a /6 -- I'm happy with the rig: it's all black n blue!

How about a Ural hack fender? Fairly inexpensive, and readily available.

Went to Bent Bike on my lunch break and picked through the racks. About to give up, I found a rear fender from an R100RT and I held it up -- looks great!

Unfortunately it was weirdly priced, so I passed. (I foolishly sold an airhead rear fender along with a bunch of fairing bits at the last Ride West parts swap for only a few bucks -- so much for foresight, huh?) :doh

Anyone around Seattle got an extra airhead rear fender they'd sell? I'm gonna patch and paint a bit anyway so rough is cool. Thanks!

Bent Bike is very proud of their used parts, but they do have a corner on the market.
