    Yeah ,that pic was taken last summer at the height of the BS.It cost twice as much as I had expected when I began planning TAT trip last winter.:puke1 wander what they have on tap for us this year?:huh Only made it to Utah last year due to running out of funds$. Hope to head back and finnish her up this year if the $hi& will just stay steady.:bow

    As you can see in the picture, it was foggy up there that day.
    I could barely see 10 feet front of me as I rode up.
    Makes it a little more interesting ride.

    Whats your route? To do Sach Pass you'd have to get to Chamba which doesnt really fall under the general Ladakh excursion routes.

    But if you wanna do it, go for it. Its the toughest pass in India.

    It is a real interesting ride up and back down.. not sure which is worse... they both have challenges... gusty winds would cause some pucker... all the better to grip the seat with... :lol3

    Not knowing what this road was, I was going to camp at Cades Cove. Ended up taking this road, at night, the wrong way, on my Sportster. I think it took several hours to get through. It wasn't fun. I did Parson's Branch primitive road 2 days later, in the day time to get to the Gap. Still challenging, but ok. Rich at night was a miserable end to a 300 mile road trip.
