Anybody use "Parts411" on eBay?

I ordered a Shoei Hornet last night from them on eBay. They're a reputable company off of EBAY and have a good seller rating. The auction stated there were 10 available, but todfay they emailed me to tell me it's backordered. Am I getting dicked around? Is the Hornet available and has anyone purchased one off of EBAY or from Parts411? They tell me it'll be shipped by the 15th, so I guess I'll wait and see. BTW, the price seemed nice.

I have ordered a couple things from them, always a good deal, and fast shipping. Mot sure what is up with yours?

Thanks, and good to know. I imagine it is genuinely backordered. Hopefully I'll get it when they said it'll come in. I guess I'm a little paranoid. :jose Or just excited!

I have made a few helmet orders from them. All have been a positive experience.

I also ordered a Shoei Hornet from them 2 days ago and I was also told that my helmet is on backorder. I was asked if I wanted to keep it on backorder, which I did. Hopefully it won't be too long. Point is, they must be low on inventory because of their low price and I will call them back next week to see if they expect some soon.

I got a shoei rf-1000 from them for an excellent price. They're legit.

Called today and the order's been pushed back to the 27th. :blady That was after they said the 15th and then the 18th and nobody emailed ot let me know... We'll see if they call me on Wednesday.

I ordered a Large Matte Black Hornet last Monday night. They called me Tuesday morning and said it was on backorder till mid March.:eek1

I've bought two helmets from them. Good prices and no problems.

This arrived in my inbox this morning. We'll see. I should have it Friday if it's true. I'll post up when it arrives...

Do the Hornets run large or small compared to the XD?

I had a completely smooth transaction with them. A buddy also got a Multitec from them, and had to wait out a backorder; they didn't jerk him around, but he had to keep himself posted. You'll be fine, but it may take a bit. Almost certainly not their doing.

we've been grabbing as many Hornets as we can from the one and only Shoei distributor in the US. Our shipment ETA are only as good as what we are told by Shoei's distributor. But we are in contact with them on hourly basis Monday - Friday.

Almost everyone here at PARTS411.com rides and we often found ourselves wishing the helmet/boots/jackets/toys we've just ordered gets dropped off by our UPS driver 'yesterday' already.... We understand that feeling and we will always make sure every order is processed & shipped as quickly as possible.

I have a large XD and ordered a lg Hornet from 411...received it in a week and great service good price...But the Hornet large was to large...so I sent it back for a medium and it has been on back order for about 6 weeks...I called them and they told me about the 15th of each month is the only time they get helmets in...so if I don't get it this month around the 15th I am cancelling my order and will buy else where.

Ordered a new Shoei x-11 for a great price & got it in two days with free shipping.

Smaller. I wear a xl Shoei and a XXL Arai

Got my Hornet. But it's a size too large. I got an XL and need a L. Anybody want to trade? I can't imagine how long it might take to exchange.
