I think they have a good plan in place.

I don't think WSBK could survive the position the AMA is currently in, though. Yikes. :eek1

Why do you say World SBK is at rock bottom? Teams seem to be recruiting riders. The racing and lap times are good. I don't get why they are at rock bottom... Are they not on TV?

I think I may have phrased this wrong. TV exposure and audiences have been dire for WSBK this year, but I think the downward trend is about to be reversed. Obviously, compared to the state of the AMA, WSBK is in very rude health indeed.

5 year ripple effect, of the crashed economy, finally cutting racing budgets for companies not selling as many motorcycles?

And the lack of truly engaging personalities. Great guys, all of them, but no heroes or villains to get behind.

Put Danny Eslick on a fast bike in WSBK. Personality issue solved.

Eslick was just recently a wildcard in MotoGP..IIRC. Crashed out I think. But yeah, he is great in AMA for sure.

I think Hayes would do well in WSBK.

Roger Hayden and Danny Eslick both raced at the Laguna round of WSBK. I think Roger was 10th and Eslick was around 15th on Saturday. Roger was in the top 10 on Sunday and Eslick was running up there and crashed. I could be wrong about the details. But they both turned in pretty respectable performances considering they were racing AMA spec bikes.
Give team Jordan a year to learn the tracks and how to tune the bikes and I'll bet they'll be a force to be reckoned with.

When was this? Must have missed that race?

Are you talking about Blake Young?

Edit: see it was a WSBK race.

    Yes and yes.

Blake Young was just a recent wildcard too, but I forget which race....found it GP Indy..Attack Kawi.

I do not have as much time to get for many rides these days, but I still DVR as much racing as I can, AMA, WSBK, BSB and MotoGP.....SX/MX too. I then watch them at night after the kid and the wife go to bed.

Blake made it to the second corner before a spectacular highside Sunday at Indi. He showed some nice improvement over the weekend even though his race was short.
