that would be my guess as well (wouldn't be like riding the Tiger.......)

and btw - Ohlins has a "cheap" shock for our kitty cats now....one on ebay for between $6-700 - no preload adjustment iirc

Red. I'm usually out there on Sundays. I don't think I've seen you on the road, though if we come across each other sometime you can take the Multi for a spin!

you have a great sense of humor, hope i get the chance to meet you some day - first round is on me (if we aren't riding)!

changing topics - noticed a while back (yea I've been following the Peach saga for years - literally) that you changed from stock screen to a double bubble........any other mods to the Tiger?? i just added the palmer bracket with the double bubble - maybe my nirvana for winter riding on the Tiger. not sure about summer yet, i like a little more airflow for hot weather.

keep the great pics and commentary flowing (and be safe in everything as you seem to attract mishaps)

    You know what?
I actually just went back to stock and will be putting something a little taller on for the next big trip north.
I wanted the black ZG one that I had before, but the dealer I ordered it from (not Munroe) ordered the wrong one and I hated it.
I'm long in the torso and I was getting nailed by wind from just below my collar bone up...
Even the stock is a little short but tolerable.
I dig the dark black screen though and the DB was irrelevant for this bike.

Might that "next big trip north" be to Dawson City Yukon to join me and a couple hundred other adventure riders from all around the world at the annual Dust2Dawson gathering? Hope so. This year's is Thur/Fri June 23-24.

As always, a big thank you for sharing your words and pics. Mark H.

Actually the Palmer products screen adapter is a much better system than the madstad. No drilling needed.

This is my set up. I am using the Cee Baily 6+ tall screen too. Air goes right over my head and im 6'9" so its a tall screen. The screen also comes fully tinted too.

It's not the height. It's getting air under the screen to relieve pressure build up which leads to buffeting. The concept of the laminar lip, Givi Airflow and lots of other windshields that either use laminar effects or plain and easy a hole in the shield to get rid of that pressure.

When I rode the Tiger I was shocked with how badly I got beaten up by the wind after coming from my Aeroflow equipped F800GS.

Totally dig all the GREAT gear & equipment suggestions,
but if you think it's something I should have or know about, please PM it so we don't start the great debate here!

At the hospital where my mom was two years ago, one of the ER guys told me it's because so many of the doctors and nurses in the ER ride and they wanted the parking close to work. Better yet, motorcycle parking was free!! :D
