I just returned from a solo clockwise trip on the TransLab on my Husqvarna TE630 Friday. I had great weather for two days on the TL, rain and wind on the third from Goose Bay to Red Bay. I don't recommend staying at the Carol Inn in Labrador City, a less than pleasant experience there.

The road itself is really not that difficult, the last bit of gravel before Fermont has a number of sharp off-camber turns due to the large crown in the grade of the road. This is the area that crosses the railroad a number of times. There was more pavement than I expected around Gagnon and road crews are working hard at paving the section between Churchill Falls and Goose Bay.

    Enjoy your trip!:D
