Holy crap!!!! Were you in my shadow??? I had orginally planned to go NE with it but after looking at the weather coming up, I had a feeling that it might get socked it for too long so south I went.
Good decision Boatman, and Mr. Egg is very happy about the upcoming trip south. Thanks for keeping the game moving right along. That tag location was Lake Tiorati in Harriman State Park, NY. Good choice. Well, Mr. Egg had a long day and is tired of telling me of his adventures. He likes the loft bed since it gives him a rare view of the stars. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
Fantastic! The egg isn't going to get stuck in the snow! Boatman, great job moving it South for the relay! I was gonna try for the tag, but knew I didn't have the time to move it South. Danny, great job, and have a great trip moving the egg! Maybe even Key West? And then it could be moved West, even to California!
I just went back and read the posts regarding the failed attempts to retrieve Mr Egg up on the hill. I hope I didn't offend anyone with me Goldwing/bald tires comment. Dirt is my thing and I have knobbies in the KTM so when I get to the dirt it's like I'm on a RallyMoto stage. Looks like I made the correct choice in going south, supposed toget 2-4" of snow today. Time to stud up some winter tires I guess. Go Digiamo!!!
Mr. Egg here. Thank you very much, Mr. Boatman, for heeding Dannys plea to bring me close to NYC so I can catch the express to Florida. Turns out he was ready to roll as soon as that Harriman post arrived since yesterday was the only time he could get the tag. He's a busy bee, running around like a chicken without a head packing stuff for the trip. He seems nice but those cats keep rolling me all over the floor. After a wonderful night in the skylit loft I can see that the stars are aligned for a great trip. Anything to get away from those damn cats. I always wanted to go to Florida and feel the warm sun on my pale shell. Maybe I'll get a tan. I am forever in your debt and thanks also for all those new talents you trained me to do. I doubt I'll need those skills on this trip but hey, you never know. Singed, Mr. Egg <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
Hey Boatman. My eggo was only slightly brused but after retreating from the tower tag without Mr. Egg, I felt I was ready for a dig or two. Thanks for the appology even though you didn't direct it at me. I will be getting a more suitable offroad/tour machine such as a Wee-Strom after I break 200k miles on the ST. For now I am glad I have the ST1100 even with her 194k miles on the clock, especially for this trip. Let me know when you want to do the Haul road. I wouldn't mind doing it again but not on the ST a second time. No hard feelings about the Goldwing comment. I did get a laugh as it seemed to apply at the time... to the core. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
Yeah, I gathered that. Very cool line of work. Looks like you do the whole deal, woodwork, engine, upholstery, etc. ? Love the shape of those classic wooden powerboats...
Good call on sending him south, Boatman and very nice, rewarding Job, Currently 5 wet inches outside, well 3" on the driveway. and Still Snowing Hard. To Mr. Egg, Safe journey to you, keep it SunnySide up and Try not to get To Fried or Scrambled.
Thought I'd let Mr. Egg handle most of the reporting duties since he's really excited about the trip and more or less a passive observer hence unbiased and objective. Hey Guys, Here's a shot of that cat, Suki that's been part of the team of three who have been so curious about me that they batted me around some. I have to apologize for Dannys crappy cell phone camera. Then we took a ride on the Staten Island Ferry to Manhattan to see a play called "So Help Me God". I always wanted to sail that ferry. Here is Mike giving me a boost up to see the Statue. She sure is impressive as mascots go. Here we are in the NYC Subway system with a very nice young stranger holding me. What a good time we had. Now I don't have to tell you all that we are having some snow today and we are hoping that we can still ride tomorrow. Looks like Boatman made a very* good decision to get me further south. I'm just immersed in a deep sense of gratitude for that since being under those rocks in the snow is no fun. Thinking of the "Midnight Cowboy" where Dustin Hoffman says "Just get me to Florida and I'll be fine" while dieing in the back of the bus. Fingers crossed we roll tomorrow. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">

Randy, great seeing you too. Glad you got to meet the Highlanders and Mr. Egg. I'm still learning how to post pics from the Blackberry. the pics might have to wait until I get to m cousins near Charleston SC.
Danny Glad you arrived safe! What is with posting at 2:45 am? Must be staying at the Holiday Inn Express! Ride Safe my friend! Randy
Hi Everybody, Mr. Egg here. I'm on my cousins puter in Hilton Head, SC and boy is it slow. I'm trying to post pics I took so far and I'm having a bitch of a time at it. We got some good ones at the Polar Bear meet but this computer is very slow. Here is a few of the crew, L to R, Randy, Gary, Bill, me, Jim, ???, Natalie, and the star of the show, Leo who is 93 and riding since 16 years old. This is his trike and I'm on the trunk. He just started riding trikes this year. Danny took this pic. Pretty good for a crappy cell phone shot. Note the pin stripe on the trunk just below me. Today we tour Hilton Head with my cousin. Hopefully we can get some good shots for Y'all AND* get them up on the site for your veiwing pleasure. More to come... Mr. Egg
