Boise Gathering 3/30/07

OK - it's official - its on Friday the 30th.

My wife is pondering going to Portland on the last Friday and
Saturday of the month. I have to work Saturday, but I thought maybe
we could all get together and install the new nerf bars and skid
plate on my wee on Friday night. We could also do some KLR stuff if
you need it done too. Mini-tech day I suppose.

Say 6:00 pm sharp. I have
tools and motorcycle jack. I will buy Brats and Chips. I'm not a beer
drinker, so BYOB. I'll have some sodas.

Give me the offical "i'm coming" so I know how much food to buy.

I will try Joe, but we are getting ready to open our shop up for the boating season. I will see if I can sneak away for a couple days. Any cheap motels in the area?

I have to work till 6:00 on that night, I'll stop by on my way home if its all right. I love brats and bikes and new people.

Very interested, but I've got a spring break camping trip planned with a date that's way up in the air. I'll have to get back to you when I get some dates nailed down.

Well I'll be there Joe!! I'll try to get Zane to come since he did mostly my installs with the very same bars and skidplate. Do you also have a centerstand to put on??

BTW I found out yesterday that the skidplate works very,very well!!

My bike already had the centerstand on it.

Yeah - I have all the tools. Be sure to get the gaskets just in case. You can always take them back. Also get the T-Mod kit if you have not done it yet. It a 3 minute install to do it. I think it was 5 bucks at HT.

No - you don't need the kit. You can buy the parts yourself. I just figured its easier to buy a prefab package...

Howdy! I'll certainly get out there with HeadingNorth if I can. I'll bring my t-mod kit... You've got it down to a 7 minute install don't you?

So - we have 2 doohickeys (one to check and one to replace), at least 2 T-mods, some fork seals, etc. etc.

Food and fun for all. Bring your cameras. I think we will have 7 to 8 people here. One from Boise county! Not sure if Live2Ride is coming...

The party starts at 6:00pm, but if you want to come at 4:30 or 5:00 pm for those who arent working (cough Ryan cough), you are more than welcome to show up early.
