Too late; I now have 2013.20 on the Montana but I used Garmin Map Update.

    Next time, for sure.

Cool. But maybe if you'd used Garmin Express you'd actually have 2014.20.

    :rofl

Or perhaps not. I see Express still says that custom vehicle icons are not compatible with the Montana when I know damn well they are.

    Picky, picky! :rofl

Well I am confused. After quite some deliberation I decided to run the update on my 660. I was happy to see that Garmin Express now allows for computer and device install.

Anyhow - so 2 days ago I run the update and everything runs through with no issues at all.

The Drop down in MapSource or BaseCamp showed:

"City Navigator North America NT 2014.2" - same on the device (plus some3D file).

Now the confusing part. Last night I hook the device up again and it says:

Update available....Hmmm weird.. Ok.... lets run it again...

It installed another full version of:

    "CN North America NT 2014.20"

Everything seems to be running - no issues there. Just wondering if I am the only one and what the difference between "City Navigator North America NT 2014.2" and "CN North America NT 2014.20" is besides the name. Both appear in the drop down by the way. Did a name change on Garmins side really trigger a whole new download...

    EDIT:

nvm - the first entry in the dropdown is the local copy, the second the copy on the device. Still weird that it felt it had to install twice tough.
