I not having much luck with the search here. Where can I get fuel filters for 990 adv. ? 1 more. is the stock chain long enough for the 45 t sprocket? Thanks......
You'll want to two O rings that seal the fuel pump to the tank. They are not in the kit, but NAPA can find them cheap. Why KTM didn't put them in I don't know.
I just wish they were quicker - it will end up being 2 weeks before I get mine - did not ship for nearly a week...no explanation, so don't know if this is standard for them. The O-rings are RIDICULOUS - $58!!! About $2.80 for best quality from Grainger (for 2) except if you want them overnight they will tack on $50 for delivery, of course. Size is reportedly a -932 has worked for others on this forum. Seriously considering getting an O-ring splicing kit and some metric stock. The -932 is equivalent to 3mm size.
I run 17/45 with a std 118 link chain, just swap the adjuster blocks around. Sweetest gearing IMO, best for wear, reduces chain slap. All good
I'm currently running 16-45 and took two links out of the chain. Shortens the wheelbase and let's it handle better for offroad. Like all changes seem to be, the shorer wheel base makes a subtle difference. Many subtle differences all add though :)
