Weronika is in Ontario now, the ride from Vegas was predictably brutal. Maybe we should all get together in Malibu on Sunday and show her some cool roads and the Rock Store? Who is IN??

you should take highway 1 all the way to Carmel then stop by Alices Restaurant it's a "must stop" destination of every biker

Alice's is in Carmel?

Nope. Not near Carmel. Skyline Boulevard (aka Route 35), Woodside, CA. Skyline is a great road to ride--up on top of the line of mtns separating the Santa Clara valley from the coastal zone. Could take Highway 17 north from Santa Cruz toward San Jose, and look for Rte 35 on the left after a dozen miles or so. That would be Summit Road hooks into Skyline (retaining the Rte 35 designation) after a few miles. It's been a long while since I've been up there but Skyline used to attract lots of squids, so keep an eye out. And despite what the Alice's gang imply on their website it's not the Alice's made famous by the Arlo Guthrie song. That one was in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

nope but that's where highway one ends at least the beautiful part of it then it picks up again in Santa Cruz and alices is in Woodside highway 35 and 84

amount of squids dropped a little bit in past few years I guess by natural selection and fact that they only like to ride in straight line Alices changed ownership few years ago to so the food is much better now and of course it's a big moto hangout

Squids on Skyline tend to be self-deleting! I remember one who went off at high speed. His bike was found downslope quite a ways but they couldn't find him for a while because his body was way up in a tree.

We had a great evening with Weronika. I'm not sure what she thought of the LA Bikers, but we all enjoyed meeting her and talking about her trip and the white tread on her tires.

She took off on Thursday for Santa Maria and I last heard from her when she was near Carpenteria.
