Yes folks it is time for March Madness. You can tell this, by it being March. So we have an ADV group on Yahoo for you to enter your picks and watch them loose. Jurgen makes no wrong picks, sometimes teams don't play to expectations but Jurgen's picks were right. So the group name is pretty clever. ADV Rider The password is: jurgen -- no capitals-- note Jergen's, Jerkin, Sgt Schultz, and Schultzie will not work GROUP ID# 141762-- For other Yahoo pick'ems this is what matters, not group name. For Jurgen only. Please say hello here, especially if you use a non-ADV nickname or real name on Yahoo. Click here-- follow "Join a Group" http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/t1/register/joingroup There may actually be a prize for the weiner, but I doubt it.
you might have missed the "hateses"... really, I have them in the final. I'd rather root for douches I know than some random team from outer fuckovia.
I joined for the hell of it, though I don't know s*&t about basketball. I did a homer pick with a sugar bowl rematch, but with different results.
And you think we do? Well there probably is a couple here that do. But, I'll admit, NCAA B-Ball not a clue. I think I'm going to pick the "Red" teams to win.
What's to know? The pre-teen daughter of a colleague won our work bracket last year. For the second time in a row.
I had my brother fill out a bracket one year for the hell of it since he knows nothing about basketball. He picked Nevada to win it all. I asked him if he could see the little numbers beside the teams. I got a "Fuck You" and that was about it. Thanks for donating.
.....said the Kansas guy. It's a better turn out than our bowl season pick-em though, and out college football thread is much bigger than the bouncy-squeeky-ball one.
my grandma used to watch espn & sportscenter with religious fervor. dad entered her brackets for several years at his employer, and she typically won or finished in the top three every year. our scoring system at my last employer rewarded upsets, so if you picked a 10 over a 7, you got 10 points. in the second round if you picked that 10 and they won, you got 20 points. one of the girls picked by her favorite logo/uniform/color, and there were two years where she was winning our pool by a wide margin by the virtue of a couple of upset picks that went deep. shit, i had like 75% of all my picks right and was getting my ass handed to me by someone who watched zero college hoops.
I have KU beating Louisville. Call it birdball. And revenge for 1986, one of many years in which KU has lost in the NCAAs to the eventual national champ. This includes last year, when the Jayhawks were defeated by one of the best pro teams in college basketball history. My bracket at work has KU over St. Louis U., winning a bracket stitched together in an alcohol-fueled odds-defying tour de force. Jayhawks and Jesuits. Birds and Bills.
