I'll eat at BRMC Friday and Saturday nights (and breakfast Sat. and Sun.). Whatever y'all/Leslie decide on will be fine with me, but if anybody wants to buy my vote, PM me.

In fact, I'm not going to make it at all. I had surgery this afternoon to repair a detached retina, so I don't think I'll be riding anywhere for awhile.

Hey Docwells, whatcha riding up this time, and when do you plan on hitting the road?

If plans don't change, I will be overnighting Thursday at one of my sisters' place at Lake Sinclair close to Eatonton. That should give me a nice leisurely ride Friday, and I'll probably just head right up 129/441, then cross over to SC and ride up through Clemson & Pickens, then through Brevard, NC.

For once, I plan to get there before dark.

Weather looks to be fantastic. Dry after Wednesday, temps in the 70's and 50's at night in Asheville. Count on 10 degrees cooler on both in Cruso.

I'll be camping Friday and Sat nites, but just diner on Sat night. Plan on hitting 32 on the North border of the Smokies, a nice twisty gravel road. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm planning on riding the GS down Thursday and doing 32. Are you riding down Friday or Thursday and will you be on the G/S or the DRZ?
