Brilliant stuff . Did you weigh her after all the changes? I am curious to see whether you got it under 170 kilos.

Highly unlikely.

Take a showroom F8, chop the passenger pegs, remove the upper rear grab bar, chop off the entire rear light bracket and plate bracket, gut the cat, replace the can with a lighter piece, eliminate the right side front rotor/caliper, replace the entire headlight cluster/wind screen with a single light/ktm shell, go tubeless and you will have dropped 45 lbs at most.

Man, you have a way of spoiling my hopes. I was thinking that with all the changes out there, you might have squeezed out 10kg or so.

I agree that this bike is actually reasonably light weight when you factor in all the stuff that is on there. In fact, I can't actually think of any two cylinder bikes on the market that is 50 state road legal and lighter than the F800 or rather the F658.

Tomorrow I will weight it.
But the standard one I measure at 204 kg real.
This bike is
260 kilos real!

170 is 34 kgs minus! Than standard.

My bad, I meant 170 kg dry, which was supposed to be 5 lesser than stock, from what I recalled. If you managed to pull off 30 lesser, well, you should be the person building bikes for BMW

For now I got a friend weighting his standard with 5 lt gasoline. 204 kg. Tomorrow I will see mine with 10 lt.
