KLR Piaa aux light kit

I have 2 Piaa aux light kits to fit the early pre 2008 KLR models. The lights are the 35 watt Piaa 002x. The mount is hand fabricated powdercoated aluminum and sandwiches between the front fender and the bottom triple clamp for a quick installation. This won't fit the 2008? If it will I'd be in for one!!

Sorry, This aux light kit will only fit the early KLR models. They made changes to the front fender on the 2008 model and it won't fit.

My 08 is wearing an Acerbis Technic fender would that work?

Hi dsump, I can't say I've seen the acerbis fender on the newer KLR to make that call. The old style fender has a flat mounting surface while the newer fender had a raised edge in frint of the triple clamp. If the acerbis fender is flat that would be a good start. I don't know if the bolt pattern size changed or not. I would assume it stayed the same but would'nt bet my life on it. 2HE
