Ok ... sniperX and the nm gang should be in full swing.
Imagine ... 50 degrees in winter at noon ... balmy!

I order knobbie tires for my plain jane 86 r80 already.

A couple teams were running the Kawasaki.

This one dropped out of the final (I think).

And this one finished 6th after leading the Ducati most of the race which finished 5th.

So is this a Versys engine?

Also, I've heard a couple comments that the new AMA rules are allowing more interesting bikes into the field. Does anyone know what these new rules are?

Thanks! Yes, it's the Versys engine. The races included the BMW/Rotax (Ron Wood), Kawasaki, Triumphs, Ducati, Suzuki, KTM and Harley. I'm in love with the Duck because I own a Cagiva but really like the Kawasaki also.

yeah, I can ride a bike 100 mph, but not like that, I love these guys:clap I so wanted to make this race but work screwed me over. Hopefully next year. Being a midwesterner, I have to ask, as far as weather goes should I go to the spring or fall race? Assuming they'll run 2 again next year. Thanks for the pics

Well, it was unseasonally cold for AZ during the spring and about average temps for the fall event. I rode to the first without freezing so it should feel like a warm day to you.
