I think he decided to leave some plastic shrapnel in the bottom of the engine. It wasn't possible to get it. He found a Nissan valve guide, and had it machined to fit into the plunger, then welded a location bracket to fit the Honda cam chain guide. The stock plunger was too short for the much different Honda part ( top & bottom sliders) . Right at dark, he started the engine and it ran smooth. Broke down for 48 hours, and spent $28to fix. Pretty cool. 15 soles for lathe work , 8 soles each for sliders , 10 soles for Nissan valve guide. Looks like we're gonna roll south Sunday. Put my new tire on today

Thanks for the clothespin idea. Now I have the perfect solution to keep my TTR125R choke lever from slowly closing when the bike's warming up (while riding). Brilliant! Mike
The freestyle event is in Peru . We are going to enjoy some sun along the coast for the next week or so. It's pretty warm here !
